San Francisco Bay Restoration Authority Governing Board Tour of Projects and Networking Opportunity in the West Bay

Please join staff and Board Members of the Restoration Authority, as well as the San Francisquito Creek Joint Powers Authority(link is external), Grassroots Ecology(link is external), Climate Resilient Communities(link is external), Nuestra Casa(link is external), and other community based organizations, public agencies, and nonprofits to learn about projects in the West Bay and to build relationships between organizations and individuals working on shoreline and community resilience.

DATE: October 6, 2023

TIME: 10:00AM – 1:00PM (approx)

LOCATION: Meet at Martin Luther King Junior Park, East Palo Alto(link is external) to visit the O'Connor St Pump Station. Travel from there. Attendees are responsible for their own transportation.

We will walk about 2 blocks (0.3 miles) from the park to the pump station at the end of O'Connor St.

This tour is open to the public. Members of the public will be permitted to address the Board Members on the items on the agenda. No other business shall be considered at this special meeting.

Please note:

•  Everyone is responsible for their own transportation to the tour and from one site to another.  
  • We will be walking over uneven terrain and trails.
• Attendees should bring their own food and drinks.  Refreshments will NOT be provided.  
• We will be outside for the entirety of the tour; please dress for the weather.
