To ensure a productive meeting, we ask projects to please submit the following project information to the BRRIT two weeks before the pre-application meeting. Projects can submit information to the BRRIT via email to BRRIT@waterboards.ca.gov (limit to 25 MB) or upload large project files here. The project information package should include the following:
- Project name
- The applicant and agent, including contact info
- Project purpose
- Brief project description
- Project location (address and lat/long) and map
- Brief history of the site
- Description of the surrounding area
- Any alternatives being considered
- Any known controversies about the project
- Proposed mitigation for unavoidable impacts (can be tentative)
- Status of environmental documents, such as CEQA
- Grant funding, timelines, and any specific conditions related to the grant
- Project timelines (anticipated schedule for submitting permit applications, receiving project authorizations and beginning project construction)
- Specific concerns or questions for the BRRIT to consider
- Existing permits
- Any studies completed to date
